The i2RP pledge and Never Again International
The iR2P pledge and website are managed by Never Again International Limited, an English company limited by guarantee (registered number 05911244) whose registered office is at Flat 6, Bryanston House, Dorset Street, London W1U 6QV.
What types of information do we collect?
You can access the iR2P website without telling us who you are and without revealing any personal information. Our web servers collect anonymous logs during user visits to the site. This information is used to create aggregate statistics, for example about when the site is accessed, the pages which refer visitors to site, the type of web browsers visitors use and which pages are viewed. These statistics help us understand how the site is used and provide us with valuable information for improving it in the future.
We do not collect personal information (such as your name) on the website unless you choose to provide it by signing the pledge. In that case we collect your name, email address, occupation and country of residence.
How do we use information collected?
Your personal information will be retained by Never Again International and its service providers in a secure environment and will be kept confidential. It will only be used:
• for statistical purposes (e.g. to advertise the numbers of people from particular countries who have signed the pledge), without any reference to you in particular;
• to contact you, as stated in the pledge, when Never Again International considers that there is a significant risk of atrocities taking place; and
• as required by applicable law.
Sharing of your personal information
Never Again International will not disclose your personal information to anyone except:
• to service providers acting on behalf of Never Again International under strict confidentiality conditions;
• where we are required by law to disclose; or
• with your consent.
Use of cookies
The site makes use of “cookies” - small amounts of data which we send to your computer on the basis of the information that we have collected about your visit. They contain information allowing us to recognise you (if you have told us who you are) and to keep track of your visit. Cookies are stored in your computer’s browser or on your hard disk and can then be retrieved by the site. The site uses so-called “session” cookies, which are deleted from your computer when you leave the site and are used purely to help you to navigate around the site and “persistent” cookies, which remain on your computer so that the site can recognise you if you return.
Most web browsers can be set to prevent you from receiving new cookies, notify you before accepting cookies or disable cookies altogether. Details about this can normally be found in the Help facility provided with your browser - or go to www.allaboutcookies.org for full information.
